Overview

Qalaris ("we", "our", or "the app") is an iPad application for learning Arabic calligraphy with AI-powered feedback. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

Data We Collect

Drawing Data

When you submit a drawing for AI analysis, the following data is sent to our server:

• A screenshot of your drawing (temporarily processed, not stored)
• Apple Pencil sensor data (angle, pressure, duration) for that stroke

This data is used solely to generate calligraphy feedback and is not retained after the analysis is complete.

Purchase Information

Subscription and in-app purchase data is managed by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not store your payment information. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID to manage entitlements.

No Personal Information

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information. No account creation is required to use the app.

Third-Party Services

• Google Gemini API: Processes drawing images for AI analysis. Images are sent to Google's servers for processing and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: Manages subscriptions and in-app purchases. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple: Handles payment processing through the App Store.

Data Storage

All app preferences (credits, feedback history) are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts or cloud storage of personal data.

Children's Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages as an educational tool.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
