Qalaris Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Qalaris ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Qalaris is an educational iPad application that teaches Arabic calligraphy using AI-powered feedback. The app provides drawing tools, letter guides, and optional AI analysis of your calligraphy practice.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

Free Features

The app provides free access to practice mode and a selection of letters (Nuqta, Alef, Baa, Jeem) without any purchase required.

Premium Features

Additional letters and AI analysis credits require a subscription or one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. Subscription details:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

AI Credits

AI analysis credits are consumed when you submit a drawing for feedback. Credits from one-time purchases do not expire. Monthly subscription credits reset each billing period and do not roll over.

4. AI Analysis Service

The AI feedback feature uses Google Gemini to analyze your calligraphy. While we strive for accurate feedback, AI analysis is provided as educational guidance only and should not be considered expert instruction. Results may vary and are not guaranteed to be error-free.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the app only for its intended educational purpose. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app to generate content that is offensive, harmful, or illegal
• Attempt to circumvent any content protection or access control mechanisms
• Use automated systems to access the AI analysis service

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the app, including letter guides, master images, and instructional materials, is the property of Qalaris and protected by copyright. Your drawings remain your own property.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI feedback will be perfectly accurate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qalaris shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
